Paper tracing the history, design, and construction of Mac Alpine, built by Charles Baltimore Calvert in 1868 and later used as the Longfellow School for Boys. Includes photographs and other illustrations as well as a genealogy listing the descendants of George Calvert, the First Lord Baltimore. This paper was prepared as part of Phillips' initiation into Phi Mu, an engineering honor society.
